Glenn Hammel, PhD

Dr. Glenn Hammel received his PhD from the California School of Professional Psychology in Berkeley, California.  Dr. Hammel is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with Post-Doctoral Fellowship training, at KentfieldRehabilitationHospital in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation.  Dr. Hammel is also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. 
 
As a Neuropsychologist, Dr. Hammel evaluates, manages and rehabilitates individuals with neurological disorders such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment, memory loss, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke as well as traumatic and mild brain injuries. 

Dr. Hammel’s popular, upbeat style and extensive experience as both a psychotherapist and neuropsychological diagnostician have made him a leading consultant to courts, families, physicians and the assisted living industry coping with the complex issues confronting the elderly and the brain injured.

In addition to the lessons learned from his patients, Dr. Hammel’s insight has been shaped by diverse life experiences, which include working as a banker in Boston, a rehabilitation counselor in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, a carpenter in Israel and a sailor in the West Indies.
